…in the in between

time

of silence

it’s holy saturday - or sometimes called - black saturday by some - whatever you call it - it’s the waiting day - between jesus’s death on - the cross and his coming - resurrection from the grave - it’s a pause - if you will - friday can be seen - as despair and sunday - will be viewed as joy - but saturday, well saturday - is a time for reflection - a time to lean in - and listen to the silence - for i believe there - is a message in it - which is laying there for - us to find even - though the silence can - be difficult to appreciate

it can be frightening - to be in the silence - feeling like you’re - in the dark - all alone without hope - waiting for something - you’re unsure of - the psalmist also knew this feeling

“put your hope in the lord. for there is faithful love with the lord, and with him is redemption in abundance.” psalm 130:7 (csb)

may you know this - hope today and find - a glimpse of - redemption in your waiting - for it’s in both of - these we can - be assured of knowing…
