Enjoying the playground

After yesterday’s heavy rainfall we were all glad to be able to get out today. Late morning we visited the beach where we started by taking the grandchildren to the playground. They both enjoyed themselves and then they had a short play on the beach before heading home for lunch.

The youngest has now learnt to count from 1 to 10 in a very cute voice. We were all applauding him when he reached 10. He was so delighted with his achievement and our response that he was repeating it again and again.

Our son and son in law helped my husband finally remove the tree stump. It’s surprising just how deep the root network was.

An enjoyable day.
