Life on the Good Intent

Challenging

Earth to earth, ashes to ashes.
So the words are spoken at the end of our earthly journeys.
I have been touched by many journals here, the way their authors face the challenges that life throws at them and tell their stories with a candour that rips at my heart. Some even find humour in the most desperate of fights.
I am ashamed of my rants and complaints in the face of such courage, although my work brings bad news to many - I come home at night.
So tonight I took a bunch if red roses to the old cemetery and left some on the oldest gravestones - where the passage of time has obliterated the wording. These dead may be forgotten but their molecular memory is written in the earth.
