Morning Walk

Actually got out for a walk this morning, all of us, inbetween making lunch - which was the definite highlight of the day. Sam marinaded and slow cooked the two shoulders of a lamb that grew up on and around our Land, Allegra and I made meringues with cream and berries, and Ermelinda and Cecílio came, plus Sam had bought an excellent wine that they'd had in London with my brother - but was about a fifth of the price here.

This afternoon, went to the beach (extra, with Aperols), but it was soooo cold in the wind - gone down to 9C (48F) today! We did not go swimming, and the Lake is so full that the beach is totally under water.

Gratefuls:
- at least it wasn't raining, so all the washing dried
- all the beautiful flowers everywhere
- having family here
