Revisiting Bessie

A very happy Easter to all!

In early March I photographed beschorneria yuccoides in bud and Vince193 commented that he calls the plant "Bessie" - thank you Vince! Today I decided to pop into Penlee Park to revisit Bessie and I'm very glad I did because she has quite the most extraordinary flowerhead that I have ever seen. In fact there are 5 flower spikes, each one about 4 or 5 feet long and each looking like the one in my blip.
