Straw Stooks

I've been noticing this field full of pile of straw (which I found out are called stooks) every morning for the last week meaning to stop off and take some photos.

It's by a busy main road with nowhere to stop, so I spent some time this afternoon figuring out where the footpaths ran. I found one which I thought ran by the side of the field, only to discover it was along the other side of an adjoining field.

Had to go slightly off-path to get this, but I think the end result was worth it. I'd love to be able to get in touch with farmer and ask for permission to have a wander round the field but I can't find any contact details for the farm on the internet. Bah!
