Construction destruction

In March I posted a photo of a building that’s being demolished. I went back today and found that only the barest carcass remains. The view in extras shows just how little there's left in comparison to March.

I wanted to show a derelict today because it’s a way into mentioning a photographer called Peter Mitchell who currently has an exhibition on at the Photographers’ Gallery called “Nothing Lasts Forever.” It features wonderful derelicts of Leeds from the 1970s and 80s. There are also photos of small, local businesses and their owners—a way of life that's long gone.
