Rachel has decided that she would like to apply for Junior Bake Off.

She has to send in a photo of some of her baking to go with her application, so she decided yesterday that she wanted to make a white chocolate and raspberry tart—a tricky endeavour for a 10 (42) year old.

Rachel reminds me of Andy from Little Britain.

 Any help or advice is met with a derisory “Yeah, I know” (I am not exaggerating).

 The whole exercise managed to take about 4 hours.

The fact that she has remained unharmed can only be due to my Avenger-like power of patience.

 At one point, I had a postcard image of her in my head with “Why I drink” as the caption.
