This'n'That

Wharf greeting

Update on our bird nest: three of the eggs have hatched! I went out with G for a quick look and he held the mirror up so we could see in the nest. Very cool!
It was the first of the advance voting days, so I went to town early. Got gas, then headed to the polling station in the high school. I was a bit early, 4th in line, and the line was quite long before we were allowed in. Such a crucial election with the threats coming from Despicable Him from the south of us. We're so hoping that we don't end up with a Conservative government.
I walked around town and went down one of the docks, something I haven't done for ages. Really enjoyed it! I saw a guy in a zodiac getting ready to leave, so I thought I'd wait and get a photo of him heading out. Another guy walked by and greeted him, and I got a lucky shot of that. I then got two shots of the zodiac heading out and included them in the extras. Picked up some groceries. No work happening with road repairs today, so a treat to drive into town with no waits.
More work in the garden when I got home. I had mowed the "lawn" yesterday, so I weed whacked around the edges, raked, got all the garden beds, tomato pots, veggie pots and bigger flower pots fertilized and ready to plant. Another lovely day, feels so good to be outside and getting some things done.
