Roger meets his hero

Roger ( right ) is a Friday night brewery drinking pal. His favourite band is the ‘Ouse valley singles club ‘ who were playing at the Portland this evening.

So we all went. Before the gig started we had a chat with Tim (left ) the lead singer and songwriter from the band. A very fine fellow who gave Roger a name check during a song about getting old.

Very clever and funny band, talented musicians and very un PC songs, the crowd loved it and sang along to most of it. Like a cross between the Wurzels, George Formby and the Mac Lads!
