Crown of Thorns
Always in flower for Easter time, Miss Flum's cactus reminds me of the crown of thorns, spiky with an edge of pink.
At the Good Friday service this evening we sang Faure's Requiem, with soloists from the choir. It's a piece in which the altos do very little compared with the other parts, but moving nonetheless.
Extra, as promised, the Dancing Queen's encore and, for this season, her finale. She did well, I'm proud of her.
