Reading
I haven’t taken any interesting photos today, not even of the dogs, so here is the cover of the book I just finished reading. I read the first chapter in the library in Uckfield, and liked it so much that I bought a copy for myself. Carol Atherton is an English teacher in Lincolnshire, and I think her pupils must be very fortunate to be taught be her, since she obviously not only loves literature but also teenagers.
D and I listened to the latest episode of”The Rest is History” (1066) while I did the ribbing on my latest hat. I have given him the toorie I just finished knitting, so this one will be for me. Then there was a last minute cancellation at the aqua class, so I left for DG1. It was my favourite teacher - everyone cheered at the end :-)
It has been a wet afternoon, but we did some ball throwing in the garden and dead headed some daffodils…
