Coy Burn Misadventures

Went to Crathes Castle for a wander around one of their trails. Picked one that was supposed to be 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes. After 1 hour we still hadn’t looped around the lake so I wasn’t sure what up. Realised we’d missed a turn. In our defence the trail isn’t signposted in both directions and a start / end isn’t specified. Turn back around and retraced our steps. Still a beautiful walk mostly along the Coy Burn. I was in my element.

Popped to Forest Farm for ice cream. It’s been a while since we’ve been and the ice cream was better than we remembered / had improved.

Home for about 40 mins before Kara had her swimming lesson. Think we’ll all sleep well tonight.
