Cragside formal garden

Ailie offered to walk with me along by Nelly’s Moss Lake at Cragside. I had to turn back at the end of the lake because of the knee but then we went down in the car to the formal garden where these were looking so pretty.

Ailie came in afterwards for some lunch of avocado on sourdough toast and watercress salad. She thinks the bathroom will be great and loves the dark blue and avocado. I’m pleased as she did art and design at uni so her judgement means more to me than the plumber’s.

Mr C has confirmed the booking of the cruise after sorting out a few things.

Carol held her Friday Fizz for her women friends. It was fun and we all took turns of the load of Anne who turns all topics of conversation round to herself.

Bathroom Chris came and put in the outlet for the shower today and put on more edging for the tiles. He says he’s coming back on Monday to carry on. Of course we have all the family here for the annual Easter Egg hunt, decorating and rolling eggs and roast lamb lunch so it will be awkward as everything in the house is a mess and muddle but I’ll cope.

I have booked Tyne Theatre for us and daughters for David Olusoga the historian for 22 November. We were lucky to get tickets - we can’t sit together as it’s almost sold out.
