You Can't Put That In There.............

First tri to the dump this morning with the car piled full of wood - from tree trunks to window blind slats and off-cuts from my turnings.
As I throw the 2nd tree trunk into the skip marked 'WOOD' a voice shouted that I couldn't put that in there. My retort was "It says 'WOOD'" and pointed at the sign. Apparently it is 'the wrong kind of wood'...... Real, unprepared wood goes in the 'Garden Waste' skip (which meant I had to drive round the yard again to get there). They have also done away with the 'General Waste' skip so people get really confused - including the guy I spoke to who was equally confused .... and he used to run the place!

The afternoon trip wasn't much better ...... but I didn't come home with anything so that means it was a success.
I even vacuumed the car when I got home.

I hadn't taken any pictures so I took some close-up shots of little shells .... including the baby sea urchin shells I collected on the beach in the Maldives.
