Plant Hunters Fair

It's Good Friday today.  My grandad was the village baker and when I was a child, he always brought us a bag of hot cross buns to test the spice.  They always tasted wonderful and the spice always just right!

It has poured with rain for most of the day.  In a dry window of weather, I had a walk around the village. It was cold and felt like winter was back!

There was a plant hunter's fair at the castle, probably due to the bad weather the attendance was lower than usual.  The stalls were all specialist nurseries and the plants were very expensive so I didn't buy anything. It would have been great for people looking for something special though.
