Hot cross buns

I thought they were ok, but Mr F ate one and complained there wasn’t enough spice (I put in a tablespoon when the recipe said a teaspoon) and there wasn’t any mixed peel (He was right, there wasn’t!)
He said he wasn’t going to eat any more, and as I had accidentally eaten four, I gave the rest to the chickens -  and they didn’t complain!!!
