Trerice

We always try to visit Trerice when we are in Newquay.  It's only 4 miles away but feels like a different planet.  It's deep in typical undulating Cornish countryside with, today, apple trees blossoming and birds singing.  I usually post the view from the Knot Garden, but today it's the front of the house from the herbaceous border along the side of the house.  We dived inside the house during one brief shower but otherwise we were lucky.  The rain started just after we got back to the flat, with a yellow warning for rain overnight.
