the tale of the scale and the skull

After a relaxed morning we took the train into town. I wanted to checkout the Gendarmenmarkt which was recently finished. It is quite a spectacular square with the churches and the concert house (see extra). I plan to take a spherical panorama. There are still some scaffolds up and I will need to wait a little longer. We then wandered over the Spree Insel past the Alexander Platz to Oranienburger Strasse. On the way we found this lovely mosaic by Alona Rodeh.
