Bucket of Primroses

It's all I have!

This is display bucket bought from a garden centre a while ago to stand on a pedestal in our church porch. The primroses I planted last time were worse-for-wear as the bucket doesn't get good light for living plants. I had brought it home and replaced the flagging primroses.

I took a quick shot of it as we went into town, meaning to blip something later. Little did I know....

So, it was 4.30pm and I'm sitting in the car waiting for The Man at the health centre. My phone rang. It was our letting agency. Visitors had arrived at our lodge to find it messy and unclean.

HORROR OF HORRORS! 

I had completely forgotten that we had a midweek changeover! Our company didn't used to accept short stays at this time of year but they have given us 3, end-to-end. I think it is because they have got involved with airbnb. We dashed home, got the laundry and cleaning gear and went to the lodge. It was a lovely evening so the folk had gone out, leaving us to it.

When the visitors returned they texted to tell us it looked lovely! Phew!
