Redfern wasn’t like this when I moved here as a student. In fact, #157 a few doors up still isn’t beautiful but my old room probably has an intact wall now rather than a big hole and daylight. A young passer-by, Irish, asked me what the flowers were. Bougainvillea. She took a photo too.
