Heron Nest Building

Couldn't ask for better weather for my week off and between driving and hiking I have put on a lot of miles on the tires and feet! I checked out the heron nesting area in Old Fairhaven this morning and at first I didn't see anything going on and was hoping they didn't already leave but in fact it looks like they are just getting started and will be there for quite a while. Looks like dad was flying back and forth dropping off new branches while mom was making the upgrades and it will be a while before any little heads are visible.
