Pub Crawl

On my walk today I passed the Swan Inn at Aston Munslow.

Workmen were repairing a wall of this 600 year old building following a crash nearly two years ago, when a car went out of control and collided with the pub. 

We were there.

And it has taken until now for the owners to get approval for repairs because it is a listed building.

The lads were happy to chat but declined to have their pictures taken. Camera shy.

It is specialised work and  must comply with 'rules and regulations'

And we went back this evening for a fish and chip supper. Always a treat and a great night out.
