Monsal trail and dale

Today's adventure: a walk down Wyedale to the bike hire shop at the start of the Monsal Trail, cycling the whole length of the trail down to the Bakewell end and back, with stops at both station cafes for cake and lunch, plus a wander down Monsal Dale itself to admire the weir and the bluebells and have a little paddle (just me) and watch the dippers. Just missed the 3pm bus back into Buxton so another taxi was needed but at least this one was less than a fiver more than the bus fare and saved us a two hour wait! Gorgeous day - especially after yesterday!
