On the Trail

This morning I drove down to Penny and Steve where we were joined by Steve's dad and his partner. We then all (including Ottilie and Layla of course) walked from their house to Newlands Corner where we had a lovely lunch (fishcake, chips and salad for me) at the Plucky Pheasant. And then back again. Penny was then busy with Ottilie while Steve carried on with some spare room decorations. I was charged with knocking up a batch of chilli con carne. Penny suggested i took a portion home but I had tried a mouthful and (for me) it was super spicy! Even Penny agreed that it had turned out somewhat spicier than she had anticipated and that it would need some sour cream to calk it down a bit! A good day and I have clocked up 14,468 steps.
