Hopeful

A sunny dry day but the blustery winds kept the temperatures down. Despite spring snow and below freezing nighttime temperatures, there are signs of life in our yard • Tulips are way up (pictured), day lilies and daffodils are visible, and lilac trees are budded (pictured). Next week looks warmer so I’m betting on seeing our first daffodils :) • Warmer temps will also help dry out the lawn and gardens as there’s much cleanup to be done. I did remove snowplow stakes from the driveway today, unplugged the heated birdbath and put those electrical cords away, even removed our snow shovels (Egad, I’m superstitious about doing it too soon!!) • Peace & Love
