Land Of Legends

Land of Legends is an open-air museum just 45 minutes from where we live. It’s incredibly dog-friendly, and once you’ve bought a ticket, you can return as often as you like throughout the season. So we decided to get an early start this year to make the most of the summer.

It’s a magnificent place, full of fascinating things to see and beautiful paths to explore.

Today has been wonderfully warm – 20°C – perfect weather for a time-travel adventure through the Ice Age, the Stone Age, and all the way to the Viking era.

My photo is from the King’s Hall – an amazing reconstruction of a Viking chieftain’s great hall. Helle and I visited the original King’s Hall last year, which was also a truly fascinating experience.
