Homburg/Saar - Freiheitsbrunnen

It was great to have a day off before the Easter holidays.  In the morning a little shopping  (first asparagus), in the early afternoon a short trip by train to Homburg to get myself an Easter present. 

The idea was linen yarn for a summery scarf or whatever,  but didn't find anything I like.

Bought a set of my favourite body lotion instead and because there was a special offer for this brand I received many extras for free. I'm not complaining. 

I expected a crowded city, but it was the opposite.  Nothing going on at all.

On the way back to the train station I blipped the Freiheitsbrunnen, the Freedom Fountain. 

Looking forward to the holidays and a week off work.
