Wild Garlic And Friend

This morning we had a rendezvous with our daughter for coffee/snacks at Junction 32 Outlet (Castleford) - followed by a wander around the shops.

The day turned out really warm - eventually. I went for my walk after lunch today for a change and stopped in the woods to photograph some wild garlic flowers. It was only when I was processing this image that I noticed the insect (a lacewing) on the lower flower - it was the orange eyes that I spotted first!

The garlic is beginning to emit a faint ‘whiff’ at the moment - in a couple of weeks it will probably be much stronger!

I have added an extra today to give a feel of how lovely the weather was this afternoon..this is looking back from the path than runs alongside the A1 (which was just behind me as I took the shot).
