Dandelion

I know dandelions are good for bees, but I hate to see them in my lawn. Years ago I thought I had eradicated this particular weed from the front garden when the little girl next door came strolling through the gate blowing on something. "I can tell the time!" she proudly proclaimed and all around her were floating seeds of the dandelion clock that she had found. 
I've been digging them up ever since.
