Village Blossom

There had to be one village blossom blip as it is such a fleeting thing and much enjoyed whilst here.

Grumpy G came today to see if the smart meter could live up to its name.  Long story short, it can't.  Apparently, old houses are a no go, meters in the basement are a no go, meters in cupboards behind thick walls are a no go, parking on the street is a no go etc etc. By the time he left G was in a bit better mood, probably because he was saved a job!  

After the departure of G we set about jobs.  The unexpected sunshine triggered several washing loads and I fed all the outside plant pots.  I needed to go and get more feed from the garden centre so set off with a stick to walk a circuit and hopefully capture the blossom.  Two of the four roads into our village are lined with cherry trees, beautiful at this time of the year.
