Gunnera

It gets a bad press as an invasikve introduced plant and it has taken over a few valleys both here in Cornwall and in the Hebrides. That said, unlike Japanese Knotweed, I have a grudging respect for the stuff. 
Three weeks ago there was nothing here at Nanquidno other than last year's dead growth  and now there is this veritable jungle of very alive and spiky rhubarb.
