And the walls came tumbling down.

We got to the coffee shop on time, and Tina, (Vic's daughter) arrived, on her own. She looked upset, and had obviously been crying. and said that Vic couldn't make it today, ( no surprise really) He is very weak now, and can't eat solids , and is on increased amounts of morphine. Not good news, but to be expected. 
I gave Cath her birthday card, and some Lindt chocolate ( her favourite )  for her birthday on Saturday. I collected my repeat prescription from  Boots, then caught the bus home. Waiting for J, who has gone on another jaunt to Magor with his friend.
