The knitting appeared yesterday on the anniversary of the Battle of Maldon which took place in 991

I was alerted to its presence by my sister and paid a visit this morning hoping that the park rangers would not have removed it

I have tried to find out more via tumblr where the note directs you but have not had much success yet

This afternoon I had a lovely icecream blipmeet with Tina and 2 'special guests'
