On Some Days

You Raise Me Up . . . Josh Groban

This morning Jen and I got our walk in.  It was blustery but dry.  We crossed the bridge to see these instilations which have been here since 2022.  Very bad not to have noticed them before now.  A Government Department had commisioned a mural project throughout the country with the aim of connecting with young adults through art.  Hope/Tumanako is the main message.  Encouraging young people to pursue their dreams and passions and inspire them to dream for the future.  They are outside Trafalgar Park.  I chose the native pigeons for the main blip.  The blurb says the meaning is always look forward and back, for us to move forward, it's important to know our whakapapa/who we are and where we are from.  The extra is panels beside the path with Maori designs on them so following up yesterdays blip.  I thought we could all do with some hope.
