Market Weather
The Links Market opened this afternoon. It is Europe's longest street fair and Scotland's oldest - established in 1304.
Locally, we speak of typical market weather - cold, wet and windy - which usually coincides with the presence of this fair. At least today there was very little wind. Just 5.6 mm of rain but enough to make it miserable. The last three weeks have been dry and mosty sunny.
This blip of one of the rides was taken through my rain-lashed kitchen window. The distortion makes an abstract composition.
