Wild Wednesday ...
... a bit of color on a gray day.
Even though the temps were only in the low 40's F today I did spend a little time in the greenhouse. It wasn't much warmer in there today as there was very little sun to warm it up.
I put the 600mm lens on my camera today as I hadn't used it for a while now. I don't think I used it at all while we were in Lake Lure last week.
Anyway ... we had lots of birds visit our garden including this lovely male Northern Cardinal. Please have a look full screen. And I'm still seeing some white-throated sparrows and other winter birds. But I only saw one Dark-eyed Junco. I almost thought they had left us because I was out in the greenhouse for quite some time before I actually saw the one.
And still no sign of the hummingbirds or gray catbirds ...
