Out and about
A trip to Aberdour castle and gardens. A bit too early for the gardens, lots of trays of seedlings progressing nicely though, and some unusual plants in the borders. The terraces were beautifully laid out and tended. Lovely to see so many beehives in the orchard too.
The castle was interesting. Mike and I took it in turn to go into the upper rooms as dogs weren't permitted. Close by was St Fillans church. Very austere apart from the stained glass windows. A lovely old church, with camellias flowering in the grounds.
On the way back we called in at B&Q for some new kitchen taps and a food shop at Sainsbury's. Interesting to see how a supermarket that you aren't used to compares with where you usually shop.
