Road trip home
Having said our goodbyes to Inge and Paula, Roan and Maya-Rose (thank you, all, for a special weekend), Heather and I left Cape Town behind us and tried to beat our seven-and-a-half-hour trip time home. We did, by half and hour, but not without numerous stops along the way. The last was at Gouritz River, which glinted in the late afternoon sunlight (impressive view from the railway bridge)... however in the other direction it was this scene that spoke more to me.
Imagine if the train was still in use; wouldn't that be something?
