Wrekin

The Wrekin is just visible on this gloomy wet n windy day. 
I had a shuffle down our track.

I'm now wondering if 'round the wrekin' is a local phrase or known further afield - meaning 'to go the long way round'.

I feel as though I'm taking the long way...
The last few days I've been off my feet again with terrible Sciatica, feeling quite poorly. Fingers crossed I'll be up and at it tomorrow.
