Seed snails
I saw a post on Instagram of how to sew and grow seeds in a seed snail. The snail is formed by some form of sheet and then moist compost is laid on the top. Seeds are then placed in a line 2cm down from the top. The snail is then rolled up and taped together.
In the photo you can see hollyhocks on the left and morning glories on the right. When they are bigger I will unroll the snail and pot them on.
I have no idea what day it is today as this week nothing is happening on the usual days. I normally see Nigel for dinner on a Wednesday but he has gone to see his mum as we are going out to dinner tomorrow when he’d normally see her.
