W-I-D-E on Wednesday: Patterns
As you can see it was a little misty on my morning walk but at least the overnight rain had stopped. As I went I photographed a few patterns for Bobsblips's Widwed challenge but I decided on this photo in the end. There's lots of repeating patterns here, including the railway sleepers, the high voltage insulators, etc.
Last night at camera club we had the judging of our annual triptych competition. There were 36 entries and I was gobsmacked to come first (see extra) - it's several years since I had that honour in our competitions! Lots of the entries were really creative and inventive but the judge seemed to like a relatively understated approach which was what I'd followed. The photos were 3 of the Gyrfalcon which I blipped on 19th March.
