The Plastic challenge.
Like many of our friends we despair about the way our world is becoming heavily polluted by used plastic which may not decay for many decades. And even when it does break down it creates microplastics which get into the food chain.
We try to do our bit. Plastic milk bottles have been replaced with glass returnable ones. Liquid soap in plastic bottles has been replaced with good old bar soap in cardboard boxes.
But the Blister Packs are a much more challenging problem. Recycling is expensive because of the need to seperare the plastic from the meetal foil.
But friends are looking into this. Ihear Superdrug had a scheme but gave it up when they were overwhelmed. Boots have a scheme which we are looking into as do vsome local chemists.
In the meantime I keep on producing them waiting for an answer.
