Riders on the Storm

What a cloud show this morning, before the storms began to move through, full of graupel and crazy-amazing winds. I got out on my bike and ended up at the corner of Stonerow, a favorite spot to stand and watch the sky. You may see the view from that spot above. There's my trusty steed in the foreground: my bicycle!

I like to go as fast as I can sometimes on my bike - especially when it looks like a storm is coming! - and when I got home, I zipped right up our driveway. "I got you on radar, speeding," my husband said; "you were breaking local ordinances. I'm gonna have to arrest you and take you downtown!"  My laughing reply: "I am Lee Colyer's daughter! I have NO RESTRICTIONS!!!"*
