Cactus Jack!

Our first full day of hols and its scorching, we spent most of the day in the pool with the two boys having a ball and relaxing. My parents arrived around midday with my younger sister and her best friend Sarah. Had loads of great pool shots but just had to blip this Cactus plant in my parents garden. Its wrapped around the palm tree and it only flowers at night and only for a few nights a year. This night it flowered the most, after that only a few flowered for a few more nights. It was really beautiful and it smelt of the most amazing vanilla biscuits you could think of. Their garden is full of the most gorgeous and wonderful treats including a little secret garden with green lights at night, it looks enchanted. The lady who owned the house before lived there for 22 years and really made the gardens spectacular and she still visits and takes care of the garden for free!!!! My parents take her and her husband out to dinner whenever they are at the house.
