World Art Day

Halfway through afternoon tea with friends someone pointed out that today is World Art Day.
I had never heard of it before, but it was pure serendipity. For around the table I happened to have a musician, a writer and artist.
So here’s my photo for the day artist Lys Hansen, John Fowler, writer and former Arts Editor of the Glasgow Herald with his wife, musician Catherine Fowler (see extra).
John is now in his 94th year and we reminisce about the “good old days “ working on a daily newspaper and he points out sadly that so many of our colleagues are no longer with us.
