New growth

The field is just starting to look a little bit green. It's usually barley that is planted in this field.  There was lots of birdsong while we were walking through the woods - Merlin identified great tit, robin, rook, chaffinch, song thrush, carrion crow, blackbird, chiffchaff, and common gull.  I think that the gull would probably have been a herring gull - common gulls are not common around here.
