Nutty problem

Just like everything else this year, our hazel is fruiting abundantly. Sadly we never get to enjoy the delicious nuts because the grey squirrels get to them while they are still green. They have already had a feast and the nibbled shells are all over the drive. I hope they enjoyed them! We haven't seen as many squirrels in the last couple of years, but they are obviously still about.

It has been another glorious summer day in the south-east - what a change from last year!
