Tulip

My wife purchased this tulip from a trip to Holland a number of years ago. It's compatriots have long gone leaving this solitary stem that defies age and keeps coming back.
Somewhat like my father in law who is coming home on Thursday. Bitter sweet in some ways as the medics are saying that they cannot do much more and he has reached the palliative stage. Getting home is a major achievement given how he was and we hope and pray he has a period of time where all the family can touch base
Also saw physio today she was pleased with progress and I can walk with just one stick in the house. Next week getting out and about again, that should help my photography. Thanks for all the good wishes. X
