Emerging From the Mists of Time

These Wall Lizards apparently appeared in the Oligocene era which spanned from approximately 33.9 to 23 million years ago so they have been around for a while! We have plenty in the wall lizards around our garden to the cats’ delight. Nexy is a real lizard collector but she just brings them in, usually tailless, as presents. They drop their tails as an escape mechanism but Nexy knows which end to hold! 


Thanks for all of the Preston presents yesterday. He did not escape a mini anesthetic while he had his beauty treatment, he’s a very naughty boy at the vets, not surprisingly after everything he’s suffered there. He's bouncing about like a kitten now and wanting lots of affection. He likes his willing slave, being at home all the time, even if she’s still not well!
